Chartered Surveyor, computer literate Quantity Surveyor/Valuation Surveyor with circa 15 years national/international experience in the construction/property industries. Fluent in English and French. Varied experience from the £3 billion Jubilee Line Extension project in London, 5 star hotel construction in Southern Africa, 5 Star Hilton hotel construction, to small housing projects, valuation of various types of properties for various banks. Experience with major organisations including EC Harris (3rd largest Quantity Surveying firm in the UK, and Lambert Smith Hampton (4th Largest Property consultancy in the UK). Training in construction/property, Facilities Management and Management (marketing/customer service).

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Quantity Surveyor - Building Services

Our client a Leading Building Services Contractor has immediate requirements for an Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Quantity Surveyor to join their regional Leeds based Projects team working on various Building services projects including Education, Retail and Commercial projects on a portfolio of projects valuing up to £200 million.

This is suitable for an existing Senior Quantity Surveyor ready for a move into a more responsible role. You will be reporting to the Commercial Manager within the Building Services Team, delivering commercial, contractual services on various project. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for a full commercial aspects of the job. Commercial Manager /SQS should be from good Building services background, prefereably having good quantity surveying experience on Education, retail or commercial projects.

Responsibilities

Providing post contract Commercial Quantity Surveying services, undertaking own multiple projects with Commercial team support and providing support to other members of the management team.

Variations, financial forecast, Sub contractor management, progress meetings, Final accounts.
